Popular content creator and comedian Carter Efe has stirred controversy on social media with a disturbing and alleged suicidal message he recently posted.  

The post has left many netizens with different speculations, and they have analysed the skit-maker's true intention with his message. 

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on Tuesday, January 7, Carter Efe revealed the date he is going to die to all and sundry. 

Might leave this earth January 10th,” he posted. 

The post, which has generated over 2 million impressions, has left social media buzzing with mixed reactions. 

Reactions are torn between taking his post seriously or as a joke, which might be a means to trend or promote his work.

Some, regardless, called people close to check up on the content creator.

Content creator Hauwa faces criticism, deletes controversial comment 

Earlier, TheRadar reported that popular content creator and screenwriter Hauwa Lawal came under heavy criticism over a social media comment she made about Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). 

The criticism eventually led to the content creator deleting the comment. The content creators' reply sparked controversy, especially among the Muslim faithful, who considered her address to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as ‘that man’ disrespectful.
