It all started when Chinwe had an altercation with Onyeka and Chizoba (Chekas) during a Checkers Custard-sponsored task on Thursday, August 8.
Chinwe confronted Chizoba for talking about her, and they exchanged words. According to Chinwe, Zion gave her an ultimatum to either apologise to the Chekas, or he would break up with her.
This made Chinwe very angry because, according to her, she was not the one meant to apologise as the Chekas insulted her first. She went on a ranting spree saying Zion should pack his bags because they were leaving the show.
She also revealed to DJ Flo, a member of the Flourish pair, that she sponsored their way into the house and he needs the platform more than she does.
She said: “From our very first audition video that we shot together till the moment we entered this house, I carried everything on my head. All he needs to do is be available; all he needs to do is show up.
“Even down to all the calls we got to come here, come here, I bought all the tickets. I didn’t want to stress him for anything.
“And to do all that, we get here, and you’re playing with me, throwing me under the bus, to please who? Non-factors? I feel betrayed and this is the second time and I am sick of it. I am done. I will walk out of this house today, my life will not end. Before December, how much is the money?
“I know how much my return on investment is every year. Before December, I know how much I am raking in. He needs this platform more than I do. I am a businesswoman, and I will be fine regardless,” she added
On Friday morning, August 8, Chinwe entered the Diary room and told Big Brother that she wanted to leave the house. According to her, she cried her heart out to Big Brother and was told that it would be processed.
She also expressed to other housemates who tried to talk her out of leaving that it was too late to rescind her decision as she had already informed Big Brother and that Zion had been ignoring her and hadn’t even checked up on her since the incident happened.
She said she barely ate yesterday even though she had drugs to use and she noticed that Zion was eating as though he had nothing to worry about.
Zion, on the other hand, has said he would not go back on his decision to break up with Chinwe. In a conversation with DJ Flo in the early hours of Friday, he said he decided to break up with her because she was being disrespectful towards him by having altercations with other housemates.
In his words: “The decision is not even because of what happened. It is because she doesn’t respect me. If you can’t show me that respect, then we have nothing. If Biggie asks us to leave, I won’t. I’ll tell Biggie that I'm not ready to leave but she can leave if she wants to BUT once we're outside, we’re done. Once my mind is off it, it’s off. I can’t fake things.”
Zion also claimed that they saw a psychologist before they entered the house, and she was told to mind her temperament.
“She’s staining my white. I don't move like that. She should be trying to sell a side of herself that she wants the world to see and you chose the worst side of yourself to sell. It just doesn’t make sense,” Zion further stated.

Some fans believe Zion is right to feel disrespected as Chinwe is truly rude and impolite. Fans think she should not have revealed that she sponsored him to the show. Others think karma has caught up with the couple because they gossip and talk down on other housemates.

Chinwe and Zion had a conversation on Wednesday, August 7, during which they criticised Nelly's cooking skills and body and insinuated that she sells her body to clients instead of food.
