- Ndi Nne won the first Custodian Challenge in the new season
- This gives Chinne and Nne immunity against nominations this week
- Nigerians congratulated them, others thought they would be gone without the title
The Ndi Nne duo has emerged as the winner of the “No Loose Guard” season’s first Custodian Challenge, earning them immunity from this week’s nominations.
The duo, Chinne and Nne, won the challenge after Nne, who represented them, found the bottle holding the Custodian title in the challenge held on July 28.
Just as the housemates were settling down and freshening up after the Launch show, Big Brother called them to the Arena for the Custodian Challenge.
The duos were each represented by one housemate and asked to retrieve a bottle each from a pool of gunk. Chinne and Nne emerged the winner and according to Big Brother, are safe from nominations this week and also have the power to influence this week’s nominations.
The 28 housemates entered the Big Brother Naija house in pairs of 14 and all promised to give viewers a show filled with drama and chaos.
Among the housemates are two sets of identical twins, best friends, sisters, colleagues and a married couple who decided to hide their marital status from the rest of the house.
Nigerians react to the first custodian challenge
Some Nigerians who initially underestimated the Ndi Nne duo because they are niece and aunt have expressed shock over the outcome of the challenge.
Netizens have congratulated the duo on their victory and are speculating on how this development will change the course of the game for other housemates.
While some people believe it was just a game of luck, others are of the opinion that winning the challenge saved them from being evicted on Sunday because they don’t stand a chance without the immunity the Custodian title affords them.
