Chinwe, one of the Zinwe pair has claimed that the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, tried to sabotage her and throw her under the bus by his comment during the Sunday Live Eviction show on Sunday August 11.
During the live show, Ebuka had called Chinwe out over what she said about Zion. Ebuka asked: “Why did you say you sponsored Zion to the house?” Chinwe had responded saying she didn’t exactly say that, but that she meant he wasn’t really interested so she did most of the running around and made sure everything was set.
This morning, however, while having a conversation with Zion in the garden, Chinwe claimed that Ebuka spun her words to suit his narrative just to make her look bad.
She said: “Imagine my shock when Ebuka is now trying to make it a narrative to suit his own understanding. It is different if he had said verbatim, word for word what I said and that was why I saw the need to still repeat it word for word what I said. It is different if he had said it like that but for him to now say it based off how he understood it is just upsetting at the very least and very painful. I just feel like I was just thrown under the bus. It was a deliberate sabotage. It doesn’t feel good, it doesn’t look good, it doesn’t sound good”
Recall that Chinwe had told some of the housemates who tried to persuade her not to leave the show that she sponsored Zion to the show and that he didn’t have to pay a dime.
Nigerians react to Chinwe’s claims
Fans have called the housemate a liar and a gaslighter. Some fans think Ebuka or Big Brother should have played the clips of her conversations with other housemates where she did say she sponsored Zion’s way into the house.
Other fans thought she should have owned up to her mistake and not deny it because when Zion sees the clips it would be much worse.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that the Nelita duo - Nelly and Anita, emerged as the Head of House (HOH) for week three in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 9 “No Loose Guard” edition.
The pair was chosen as the HoH in a ballot that started in the early hours of Monday, August 12. Nelita got the highest votes yet this season and was declared the winner of the HoH ballot.
