Chinwe, one half of the Zinwe pair, has had a lover’s quarrel with her boyfriend, Zion over her feelings being neglected.
She disclosed to Zion, that he wasn’t giving her enough love and attention and would prefer if they break up. She and Zion had this conversation before the Munch It sponsored task in the evening on Thursday, August 22.
She said: “If we are not on the same page, I am not going to put in as much energy anymore. And I even think it makes more logical sense for us to break up so they know that we are not working as a couple anymore, we are working as friends. So, It is better they see our dynamics as friends now instead of as a couple because I will not claim to be in a relationship and my feelings keep suffering every single time.”
Chinwe also revealed that she was not in good spirits as her “feelings are suffering” In her words: “My feelings are terribly suffering. I am in a bad place mentally, emotionally, I am down. I just feel like there is nothing there anymore. I get the vibe that you will rather spend time with your friends more. And today, I was even feeling sick downstairs and the best Mickey could come and tell you was ‘how far, I go come rack soon.’ I just feel like how insensitive can you even be…”
Zion, in his defence, said their relationship had matured and that it is normal for things to change but Chinwe was not having it. She said she didn’t buy that ideology and implied that she would want her love and passion to remain the same throughout the relationship.
She said: “If you won’t love me the way you love me in the beginning, drop it. If you won’t love me the way you love me in the beginning and you say ‘oh, it is because we have matured in the relationship that is why things are different, that’s why it is ok to neglect my feelings and not give me attention, then there is no point, drop it.”
After so much back and forth, the couple seemed to have settled their differences as they were seen in each other’s company during and after the pool party which followed after their sponsored task.
