Netizens are at Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr’s throat over an outfit she rocked alongside popular American singer Rihanna at the Crop Over festival in Barbados.
Ayra Starr and Rihanna were recently spotted in a picture hanging out during the festival in celebration of Barbadian art, food and culture.
An X (formerly Twitter) user identified as @gentl_introvert, on August 6, shared a short video that captured Ayra Starr’s full outfit at the event and what she thought about it.
“Ayra Starr imitates Rihanna fashion style in Barbados.
This is really not good for her as a Nigerian artiste, she's beginning to do worse than Tiwa Savage. Even Tyla won't do this, I don't know why her Ayra Starr Mum or Don Jazzy isn't advising her” the X user tweeted.

The video showed Ayra Starr leaving almost nothing to imagine about her body in a blue-coloured outfit made with beads and feathers. The video also captured the 22-year-old singer turning around to show off her outfit, revealing her bare backside.
Series of the exact video caught the attention of netizens on social media particularly on X and they are not having it with their numerous criticisms.
Many of the criticisms condemned the immoral fashion sense of Ayra Starr and being that it wasn't the first time, they opined that they were not surprised.
