On Monday, June 8, Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko popularly known as Simi, rocked a swimsuit to a pool party and netizens couldn’t resist the urge to air their opinions about it.
- Simi is currently trending for wearing a swimsuit in a viral video

- However, netizens reacted to her outfit; many argued that it’s too revealing
The Duduke crooner, who recently released her ‘Lost and Found’ album, and her friends were spotted having fun in an indoor swimming pool.
Shared via her verified Instagram page, a short video she posted captured a super hyped and excited Simi jumping on a popular TikTok challenge called “12345678 challenge”.
The TikTok trend, which can be likened to a tongue twister, required one to recite these numbers forward and backward fluently. Simi, in the video, recited it and got it right. She was all smiles and jumping, while her friends cheered her.
Neglecting the fun in the video, her outfit didn’t go down well with many Netizens, who criticised her for revealing sensitive parts of her body.
Simi in exposing swimsuit
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Netizens have dragged the 36-year-old singer for wearing a swimsuit. A similar controversy occurred during her birthday on 19th April 2023. In a viral video, she was captured in a swimsuit with friends in a swimming pool.
