Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, has been heavily criticised on social media for dancing to Naira Marley's latest song, Pxy Drip.
The song, which is said to be trending on popular social media platform, TikTok was used by Ayra Starr as a sound for her dancing video.
The now-deleted video, making rounds on social media, on Thursday, February 6, has stirred up controversy among netizens.
Ayra Starr’s viral video was supposed to be a promotional attempt for her upcoming single All The Love set for release on February 11.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, a netizen identified as TheDamiForeign expressed his disappointment in Ayra Starr for promoting Naira Marley’s song with her video.
“I’m so disappointed in Ayra Starr for listening and promoting Naira Marley’s song. We need to cancel her!” he tweeted.
Other netizens have also expressed their thoughts on the singer’s alleged promotional video and what it means to them.
