Barely 24 hours after its release, Fireboy DML’s eponymous album, Adedamola, has peaked on the number one spot on Apple Music Nigeria Albums Chart.
This new feat also made all other singer albums, including Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps (2019), Apollo (2020), and Playboy (2022), peak on the number-one spot as well.
Announcing the new feat, 49th Street, on August 29, in an X (formerly Twitter) post wrote, “Fireboy DML’s “Adedamola” peaks on the #1 spot on Apple Music NG Albums chart.”
“All of Fireboy DML’s albums have peaked on the #1 spot on Apple Music NG Albums chart. Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps (2019), Apollo (2020), Playboy (2022) and Adedamola (2024)” it added.
Adedamola is Fireboy’s 4th studio album and the reception since its release at midnight on Thursday, August 29 has attracted positive reactions from fans.
Born Adedamola Adefolahan, Fireboy DML developed his interest in music while studying at Obafemi Awolowo. Today, the Afrobeats sensation signed to YBNL Nation has made a remarkable track record in the past five years after his break out with Jealous.
