Nigerian singer and songwriter Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally known as Fireboy DML, has announced his upcoming self-titled fourth studio album, ‘Adedamola.’
Fireboy’s album would join the numerous album lineup that has dropped in 2024. It is also coming a week after his record label colleague, Asake dropped Lungu Boy.
Via his official X (formerly Twitter) on August 19, Fireboy announced the date of his new album accompanied by the album cover. “adedamola. 29th of August. pre-save — music. empire.re/adedamola” he wrote.
Fireboy’s Adedamola is his fourth studio album after 2 years since his third Playboy in 2022, his sophomore album Apollo in 2020 and Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps in 2019.
The singer first broke out into the mainstream with his single, Jealous in 2018. He has since been signed to YBNL Nation, a record founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide.
