The 2019 released song Brown Skin Girl is a song by American famous singer Beyonce featuring Wizkid and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy. Off the 2019 soundtrack album, Lion King, the R&B genre track was released to widespread critical acclaim and received numerous awards. It won the Best Music Video category at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. It was certified Gold in the United States with 500,000 sales units on August 8, 2022.
- Mood — Released in 2020
On May 9, 2024, Mood featuring BNXN was RIAA certified Gold in the United States for selling over 500,000 units. The song was off Wizkid’s Made in Lagos (Deluxe) album, which was remastered and produced by P2J.
- Call Me Every Day — Released in 2023
The 2022 single Call Me Every Day by Chris Brown is among the first to land an RIAA certification on Janaury 5, 2023. The song featuring Wizkid was certified Gold in the US after surpassing 500,000 equivalent units. The Blaisebeatz and roccstar-produced bop is the first song from Brown’s tenth album, Breezy, to achieve certification.
- Made in Lagos Album —Released in 2020
Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album is undoubtedly one of the most successful Nigerian albums. Clinching awards and amassing streams, it has enjoyed domestic and international success. On August 25, 2022, it became the first African album to be certified Gold in the United States. It is Wizkid’s fourth studio project.
- Soco — Released in 2018
Soco was produced by Nigerian producer Northboi and features artistes like Terri, Spotless and Ceeza Milli. Following its release, the Afrobeats song won several awards like the African Musik Magazine Award for the Song of the Year. It is the most recent song by Wizkid to be certified Gold in the United States on September 19, 2024.
