The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 92% of the results from the Ondo State gubernatorial election to the Commission’s Results Viewing Portal (IReV) as of 5:11 PM today.

According to INEC, a total of 3,138 out of 3,933 polling units have been transmitted, representing a substantial portion of the electoral outcome.

The IReV portal allows the public, political parties, and election observers to track results in real-time, promoting transparency and accountability in the electoral process. With nearly 92% of the results now available online, political analysts and party agents are closely monitoring the upload as the election results continue to come in.

The remaining 795 polling unit results are expected to be uploaded as the process progresses.

INEC has reassured the public that the uploading process is ongoing and will be completed as soon as all results from the field are transmitted and verified.

As of now, early indications suggest a highly competitive race, with leading candidates in various parts of the state closely contesting for the governorship seat

Election officials have urged patience from voters, stakeholders, and the media, emphasising that the full verification and collation of results will follow as part of the statutory procedures.

Further updates will be provided as the results continue to be uploaded and verified.
