Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid and Popular British rapper Skepta have been announced among headliners for the highly anticipated AiaSound festival in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Known for his captivating melodies and dynamic performances, Wizkid is scheduled to perform at the festival on August 2, 2025. This will be his first festival performance of the year.
On the other hand, Skepta’s performance comes up on August 1, 2025 to thrill his fans with his exceptional rap prowess.
In an X (formerly Twitter post) on January 29, 49th Street, made the announcement about Wizkid’s participation in the AiaSound festival.
“Wizkid will headline the AiaSound Festival on August 2nd, 2025.” it captioned.
The upcoming event themed Unleash The Vibe promises to showcase a vibrant array of other musical talents.
Based on their global status, Wizkid and Skepta’s participation is sure to elevate the excitement surrounding the festival.
Meanwhile, other lineup of headline artistes aside from Wizkid and Skepta’s performances include Morten and Steve Angello.
Other artistes listed for the festival also include Anais, Craig David, Mas, Acraze, Ella Augusta, Yume, and Sidequest amongst others.
About AiaSound Festival
The AiaSound Festival is an annual festival that kicked off in 2021 with a debut featuring various music artistes.
The festival since its inception has witnessed the presence of music talents across borders to celebrate the sport of music and what it starts.
Notably, the 2021 edition of the festival saw the appearance of Burna Boy as the only Nigerian headliner.
Since then, 2025 has featured Wizkid, making him the second Nigerian artiste featured in the festival since inception.
Tems to become first female headliner at 2025 Afro Nation festival
Meanwhile, TheRadar reported that Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, emerged as the first female African act who will headline the upcoming Afro Nation music festival in Portugal.
The famous annual three-day music festival will be held from July 9 to July 11, 2025. It also sees Nigerian superstar Burna Boy as one of the headliners of the upcoming event.
