Of course, why won’t I miss her. Kefee, the angelic voice. Kefee was like I tell people that there are two people that I have made collaborations with when I hear and the first time I heard I was like wow. Kefee was one. Then, the second one was Buju (BNXN).

Kefee, they just played the beat and Kefee jumped on it. Then, I was on my way to the airport and I said send to it but she held my hand like this and said please I need this collaboration. I said, na now you wan do am, I have like 30 minutes to leave. She did her part and they played it. I was like on the mic. I abandoned my flight. It was amazing. She was singing with passion.” Timaya narrated.

The legendary singer revealed that Buju’s collaboration happened after a brief conversation they had. He noted that Buju’s spontaneous approach to developing the song within the short time they talked was mind-blowing.

Then, Buju, we were just talking and I said, it’s cold outside! I went upstairs and came back. He now sang the last time that I checked. I asked if they had recorded the song before and he said no. I was like 2mins. So, the question was now how do I get in because he had finished the song.” he explained.
