Following his controversial rearrest, Nigerian singer and rapper Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington has been finally granted bail.
The controversial singer was reportedly arrested following a petition filed by his colleague and Grammy Awarded artiste Burna Boy over an alleged defamation.
Speed Darlington was said to have accused Burna Boy of having intimate ties with embattled popular American rapper Sean Diddy Combs to win his Grammy Award.
Via his official Instagram page, one of Speed Darlington’s lawyers, Stan Alieke, on Monday, December 23, announced the latest development on the arrested singer’s case.
“Speed Darlington has been granted bail,” Stan Alieke wrote on his Insta Story.
Meanwhile, the rearrest of Speed Darlington has consistently sparked controversies among netizens, many have wondered when he would be released.
