Fuji musician Saheed Osupa has extended his congratulations to his former rival-turned-friend, Alabi Pasuma, in celebration of his birthday on Wednesday, November 27.

For years, Pasuma and Osupa had been involved in a bitter feud fueled by comparisons and deep allegiance from their fans. Initially, the two music icons were close, but as they reached the peak of their careers, their fans split into factions, leading to a toxic rivalry.

The feud resulted in violent clashes, damages, and even police intervention. However, after two decades of animosity, Pasuma and Osupa finally put their differences aside.

Osupa shared pictures of them on his Instagram handle, @Kingsaheedosupa, and expressed gratitude for overcoming their feud and emerging with a stronger bond and friendship.

He posted: “Happy birthday to my friend, Ajibola Alabi Pasuma @officialpasuma, I'm so grateful that we were able to work through our recent rough patch and come out even stronger on the other side. It's a testament to the unbreakable bond we share.

“On your special day, I want to celebrate not just the amazing person you are but also the incredible friendship we've built together.

“I feel grateful to share in your journey. Here's to many more adventures, laughter, and memories to come.”

The two Fuji legends put an end to their 20-year feud at the Fuji Opera concert in December 2023.
