- Following their fallout, an APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, asked if the twins had no elders to settle their feud
- In a clapback, Paul Okoye criticised the chieftain for ignoring his political duty to focus on people’s personal affairs
One of the renowned music duo, Psquare, Paul Okoye, known now as Rudeboy clapped back at an APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe over fallout with his brother, Peter Okoye.
Igbokwe had expressed his displeasure to see twin brothers falling out and not being able to settle their differences. He also noted how no family member could salvage the situation.
Responding to the comment on August 4 via his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy insulted Igbokwe. The singer told Igbokwe to channel the energy to politics and fulfill his responsibilities.
He tweeted, “Joe akpa amu Igbokwe your papa!! Focus on the country wey you put your mouth spoil. People are hungry!!!”
Paul’s comment sparked controversy and reactions among netizens. While some agreed with the Chieftain despite his personality, some were in support of Paul Okoye and how he called out Igbokwe.
Paul Okoye reportedly confirmed that his twin brother reported him to the anti-graft agency, EFCC over some disagreement they had, leading to the fallout.
What Joe Igbokwe said about P-Square’s second fallout
Joe Igbokwe had earlier responded to the fallout between the Psquare duo via an Instagram post, sharing his thoughts about the feud.
He said it was hard to comprehend why twin brothers can’t resolve their issues and love each other genuinely. According to him, it was shameful that they find it difficult to manage the situation.
“So shameful that twin brothers Paul and Peter cannot work together, cannot love one another, cannot trust each other…they could not manage their internal contradictions. Even their wives could not help matters.
What about their parents?…This is a shame. It pains me to no end. Now, are there not elders in the family? This is success without brains. Education without character. Make shame catch us small na.”
