As the popular phrase “Age is just a number”, Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, best known as OdumoduBlvck, has expressed his admiration for Rema’s intelligence in the Nigerian music industry.
On Wednesday, OdumoduBlvck posted on his official X platform (formerly Twitter) that he enjoys listening to Rema because of the quality of his conversation.
He noted that he is six years older than Rema, but that doesn't stop him from paying attention and respecting the ‘Calm Down’ crooner for his intelligence.
“E get many things wey him tell me wey I never hear anybody tell me. Not even my father and mother. and trust me I don hear many advice. I repeat. OG no be by Age,” he said in his post.
In another post, he expressed his admiration for Rema and his thought process, he listed three veteran Afrobeats singers whom he described as “OGs.”
In no particular order, he mentioned Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, Wande Coal, born Oluwatobi Ojosipe, and D’banj, real name Oladapo Oyebanjo. According to OdumoduBlvck, these artistes have greatly impacted the music industry.
In his words, “2Face Na OG, Dbanj Na OG, Wande Na OG. Make nobody wey never impact the game like these men comot dey claim OG. Self acclaimed and Proclaimed OG. Fake OG.”
