Following the anticipation of their albums, Nigerian Afrobeats singers Joeboy and Ruger have finally delivered their projects.
Ruger dropped his album BlownBoy Ru featuring guest appearances from Zlatan, Kranium, Tiwa Savage and VAliant.
The 13-track album features his A COLORS performance song Toro, dedicated to a lover he misses. It also featured Toma Toma, a hit with Tiwa Savage off the project.
On the other hand, kicking off his album Viva Lavida with the Taxi Driver series, Joeboy travels on his ‘love songs’ forte.
His mastery with love as a theme doesn’t come surprising as it is what he is known for. It is either he is serenading a lover or chronicling a heartbreak journey.
Viva Lavivda features Olamide, Tempoe, Wizard Chan amongst others.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that last week Burna Boy dropped his first single of 2025, Update in anticipation for his album, No Sign of Weakness.
