1. A Quiet Place: Day one: If you've watched and enjoyed the previous series of A Quiet Place (A Quiet Place & A Quiet Place Part II), then this film is a must-watch for you. This is a fantastic and intense horror film that stars Lupita Nyong'o as Samira, a young woman who finds herself trapped in New York City with other survivors during the early stages of an invasion by alien creatures. They found out that they must remain absolutely silent as these creatures are drawn to the slightest sound. If you've not seen the previous series, you can binge-watch all the series this weekend. 


2. Damsel: This is not a fairytale, it is a dark fantasy film where Elodie, a young woman, agrees to marry a handsome prince in order to save her people. She soon discovers that the wedding was all a trap as she is being thrown into the cave as a sacrifice to a fire breathing dragon, to repay the royal family's ancient debts. Elodie has to rely on her wits to survive. 

3. Òlòtūré: The Journey: This is a captivating Nollywood thriller movie, It is a sequel to Òlòtūré , a drama and crime film. The film stars Sharon Ooja as Òlòtūré, a naive journalist who goes undercover as a sex worker to expose the underworld of human trafficking. In her desperate quest to reveal the truth, she pays the ultimate price, one that takes her to the verge of no return. If you've seen ‘Òlòtūré’, then you need to watch this to continue the story. 

4. Mea Culpa: This is another interesting legal thriller film directed by Tyler Perry. In the movie, a criminal defense attorney who is unhappy in her marriage takes on the case of an artist, Zyair Malloy,  accused of murdering his girlfriend. While she tries to determine the innocence or guilt of her seductive client, she finds herself seduced by him and it is uncovered that everyone is guilty of something. 

5. Atlas: Do you enjoy science fiction films? This is for you. Atlas Shepherd, a Data analyst is enlisted to help search for a robot on the run. While she has always been distrustful of the new technology, she must put her life in the hands of a power suit operated by Artificial intelligence to stay alive and save the world.
