The Miss Universe Nigeria beauty queen arrived in Mexico a few days ago to contest with other models across the world for the Miss Universe crown on November 16.
Chidinma, who has been the subject of several controversies, on Monday, November 4, emerged in the number 2 spot in the Miss Universe 2024 pre-arrival hot picks ahead of the grand event.
The news has left netizens, especially Nigerians, excited and analysing her high chance of emerging as the winner of the prestigious beauty pageant.
Chidinma’s top pick comes a few days after a South African group wrote a petition to have her withdrawn from the event.

Chidinma accepts Miss Universe Nigeria’s invitation following Miss South Africa saga
Earlier, TheRadar reported that Nigerian-born South African Chidinma Adetshina accepted the invitation of organisers of Miss Universe Nigeria to participate in the 2024 edition of the pageant.
Chidinma had recently withdrawn from the finals of the 2024 Miss South Africa competition after a controversial investigation report about her true nationality surfaced.
In a short video clip posted on August 14 by the Silverbird Group founder, Ben Murray-Bruce, she expressed her gratitude to the Miss Universe Nigeria Organisers.
