Ijoba Lande laments receiving N90,000 for month-long movie shoot with Funke Akindele

Nigerian actor and comedian Ijoba Lande claimed in a live session that he was paid N90,000 for a month's work on a movie production with Funke Akindele
He stated that he was overwhelmed by the job and didn't negotiate with the movie producer before accepting the role

Nigerian comedian and actor Ijoba Lande recently opened up about a time he felt shortchanged while working on a movie set.

During a TikTok live session, Lande revealed that he spent an entire month filming a production with renowned actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele at Amen Estate, only to receive N90,000 as payment.
According to Lande, "There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month there. I was shocked when she gave me N90k after spending one month." 
Lande expressed his disappointment, stating that he was shocked by the meager compensation. The comedian advised upcoming actors to negotiate their fees before accepting roles and not to idolise top industry figures.
"I have learnt my lessons. I will always state my charges before going to any location. When she called me, I was too excited to discuss payment, only to end up with N90k after one month," Lande added.Although Lande did not disclose specific details about the movie, including its title and his role, his revelation has sparked a heated debate among social media users, with opinions divided on the matter.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Nigerian actor and comedian Baby Tee admitted to a brief intimate encounter with Darasimi, the wife of comedian Lande. 
He apologised for his actions, blaming them on intoxication during a game of "Truth or Dare" and claiming he was set up by Marygold and Darasimi. 
His confession follows Lande's allegations of infidelity against his wife, in which he named Baby Tee as one of the 21 men involved with her.
