It was all glamour and glitz at the premiere of the highly anticipated movie Everybody Loves Jenifa (ELJ), written by the famous Nigerian actress Funke Akindele.

The movie premiere, which was held on December 8, hosted lots of celebrities in the Nigerian entertainment industry, who came out to support Akindele on the newly released movie, which is a quadrilogy of ‘Jenifa.’

The movie has inspired a series of exciting projects for the actress. Funke Akindele had earlier launched her real estate venture, Jenifa's Garden, and released a Carol song, ‘Everybody Loves Christmas,’  featuring the movie's cast— giving viewers and listeners butterflies in their belly for the combination of all favourite celebrities packed in one video. 

The movie premiere on December 8, with a "Lagos after-party” theme and a “Glitz, Glam and Bling” dress code, had many fans and followers awestruck by the stylish and glamorous outfits many celebrities wore in support of their friend and colleague, Funke Akindele.

Celebrities who graced Everybody Loves Jenifa’s premiere 

 TheRadar curated a list of the show-stopper appearances of some of your favourite celebrities who graced the premiere

1. Falz

Falz, the Nigerian rap artiste, songwriter, and actor, best known for his role as "Segun Sege" in Jenifa's Diary, brought the heat with his bold, avant-garde ensemble. The outfit's sparkling embellishments added an extra layer of flair. 

2. Bisola Aiyeola 

Big Brother Naija season 2 housemate, Bisola Aiyeola, looked elegantly in her shimmering lattice dress paired with minimal accessories. No doubt this is the glitz, glam and bling, and she indeed came to slay. 

3. Omowunmi Dada 

Award-winning Nollywood actress, Omowunmi Dada, was indeed an epitome of glamour in this breathtaking, sculptural mini dress with floral-inspired and delicately embellishments. This look is mesmerizing as if she had brought the 'Mariposa' (butterfly) to life. Her look was perfectly completed with a shimmering statement clutch. Only ‘ELJ’ can do this. 

4. Chineye

Chineye Nnebe absolutely slayed the fashion game with her outfit. From the dazzling black cropped jacket, to the starry  metallic silver pants, finished with dark shades, perfectly presented the essence of glamour and Gen Z style. She truly served looks and completely owned this outfit. 

5. Bella Okagbue

Former Big Brother Naija's housemate, Bella, came to give glitz and glamour. Her beauty, coupled with the golden fringe gown, was everything. 

6. Lateef Adedimeji

Popular award-winning Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, came in with every simplicity and a no-stress vibe. He hardly ever misses.

7. Adaku

Omotunde Adebowale-David, popularly known as Lolo and Adaku in the Jenifa series, came to sparkle in her short dress. She dropped her queen title to represent a princess, with a very demure presence. 

8. Eniola Badmus

Popular actress Eniola Badmus came to support Funke Akindele, looking elegantly and giving a ‘Beverly Hills’ vibe. 

9. Grand Prince Ita

Award-winning TV host, Grand Prince Ita came with the metallic fabric style and the statement cowry neckline, giving After Lagos Party indeed.

10. Iyabo Ojo

The famed “Queen Mother,” Iyabo Ojo, answered the call of glitz and glam with her classy outfit. 

11. Toyo baby

Julianah Oloyede, popularly known as Toyo baby, took the theme seriously with the glittering, shimmering and dangling outfit. The look was reminiscent of the legendary ‘Lagbaja’ vibe, but then, what is an after-party without a little extra bling?

12. Chimezie

Chimezie Imo simply gave glamour in the simplest way, and it screamed expensive. 

13. Destiny Etiko

Destiny Etiko, came with the goddess aura. 

14. Tobi Makinde

Tobi Makinde, popularly known as Timini read, wrote, and passed in this outfit. It is indeed a Lagos after-party vibe. He cooked. 

15. Emeka

Emeka Nwagbaraocha elegantly delivered with this pair of glittering pants. His outfit spoke glitz, glam and bling. 

16. Jide Awobona

Jide Awobona, who acted ‘Sam’ in Jenifa's diary, came to slay in the Lagos big boy glam,and he cooked it. 

17. Mobimpe

 

Nollywood Yoruba actress Mobimpe said she won’t be left out of the splendour and gave her best with this glamourous outfit 

18. Stan Eze

Stan Eze came with all his majestic vibes in the well-tailored suede. He came to give glamour. 

19. Idia Aisien

Idia Aisien’s stunning look had a jaw-dropping effect. Her black velvet outfit embroidered with stones evoked the majestic aura of Ursula, the sea being(in a good way). The addition of a dollar pouch was the perfect finishing touch, complementing her glamorous look. Her outfit marks the party but not the theme.

20. Harold Amenyah

Content producer and TV host, Harold Amenyah, gave all denim at the premiere. Indeed a sight to behold. 

21. Paschaline Alex

 Paschaline Alex, famously known as ‘Cordi’ in Jenifa's diary, glammed the premiere with her velvet top and a glittering piece. 

22. Blessing Eze

Renowned actress, Blessing Obasi Eze, gave her all in the short lacy dress adorned with sparkling stones and finished with dangling beads that add a touch of drama and glamour. 

23. Etinosa

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Etinosa Idemudia, embodied simplicity elegantly in her vibrant organza outfit, perfectly capturing the festive spirit of the Christmas season. As always, she looked absolutely stunning, however, it wasn't the perfect outfit for the themed event. 

24. Moyo Lawal 

Curvy Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, gave an angelic vibe and demure aura at the event. Her show-stopping dress, embroidered with stones and feathers, was perfectly complemented by a luxurious fur wrap, giving absolute glam, but not the ‘after-party vibe.’

25. Iremide

Ace actor, Iremide Adeoye, represented glitz and glam with his sparkling outfit. Simple but definitely glamorous. 

26. Hilda Baci

Celebrity chef and one-time Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, seasoned everywhere with her stunning red outfit at the premiere. Her dress perfectly complemented the seasonal colour scheme, making her a beauty to behold.

27. Hawa Magaji

Hawanna Magaji, the stunning red carpet host for the "Everybody Loves Jenifa" premiere, dazzled in a breathtaking lacy sequin outfit. Her outfit perfectly captured the essence of a snowy winter wonderland. 

28. Akin Faminu

The digital creator of fashion and Lifestyle, Akin Faminu, took fashion to another level with his dazzling ensemble. He rocked an embellished Pagoda tuxedo, perfectly embodying the essence of glitz, glam, and bling.

29. Kiekie

As expected, Kie kie, the fashion goddess, brought her A-game to the event. Her golden sequin outfit was a masterpiece, and she rocked it with her signature flair, proving why she's always the life of the party. 

30. Funke Akindele 

The grand host started the event and stopped it with her dazzling look. Funke Akindele, without doubt, embodied the glitz, glam, and bling.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported how celebrities turmed up for comedian Kamo State’s wedding party on December 4. 

Amongst all the celebrities present were Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, Omowunmi Dada and Debbie Shokoya, who all made the event more colourful and glamorous.
