1. Ooni of Ife

The Yoruba monarch, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been blessed this year for welcoming not only one but three babies. In March, the king announced on his Instagram page @ooniadimulaife that he and one of his queens, Olori Tobi, had welcomed twins. The third and youngest wife of the king received multiple congratulations from well-wishers for the amazing gift of a prince and princess. 

Nearly six months later, the bells of congratulations once again rang in the palace of the Ooni of Ife as his fourth wife, Olori Ashley Folasade, welcomed their first child, a boy, in September after several failed attempts to conceive. 

Olori Ashley confirms she called their newborn son their crown prince while explaining that she gave birth to him at the Princess Royal Hospital London in the United Kingdom. 

2. Banky-W and Adesua Etomi-Wellington

This celebrity couple have had a lot of celebrations brewing in their abode this 2024.

From the successful relocation outside Nigeria to the commencement of academic milestones. As if that was not enough, Banky-W and his wife, Adesua, welcomed a new baby boy in the United States, giving Zaiah a baby brother 

Adesua took to her Instagram page @Adesuaetomi to share amazing pregnancy photos with a beautiful writeup:

“First, we had each other, then we had your brother, then God sent you and now? NOW, we have everything.😍😍😍” 

3. Dayo Amusa

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa made it to the list of celebrities who welcomed a baby in 2024. The founder of Best of Nollywood, BON Awards, Seun Oloketuyi, announced the baby’s arrival in an Instagram post. 

At 41, the award-winning actress announced the birth of her baby boy in the United States. 

Many celebrities celebrated her, and she attested to how God has shut the mouth of those who mocked her.

Despite these celebrations, the beautiful actress got involved in controversy for keeping the identity of her husband, and she addressed the critics that she is a happy person.

4. Tawa Ajisefini

Tawa Ajisefini, a Nollywood actress and scriptwriter based abroad, has finally become a mother after years of marriage without children.

The actress and her husband, Jamiu Alli, welcomed a baby boy. It was indeed a call to celebration because the baby boy's birth was Tawa's answer to prayers. 

5. Debbie Shokoya

Debbie Shokoya, the Nigerian actress who is ever vibrant in Yoruba movies, welcomed a baby boy in August after she had suffered a miscarriage the year before. 

6. Emeka Ike

March 2024 was a double celebration for Nollywood actor Emeka Ike and his wife, Yolanda Pfeiffer. The couple welcomed a beautiful baby girl on Emeka's birthday, making the day even more special. 7. Sina Rambo

This new addition to the family follows a tumultuous period in the couple's relationship after Korth publicly accused Sina of domestic violence and death threats less than a year ago. 8. Nadia Buhari

10. Daniel Etím Effiong

The baby boom of 2024 continued as Nollywood actor and film director Daniel Etim-Effiong and his beautiful wife, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, also welcomed their third child.

After seven wonderful years of marriage, Daniel and Toyosi are now proud parents of three adorable kids – two lovely girls and a handsome boy.

11. Ali Baba

The trio were named Aaron, Andrew, and Alexander. Initially, fans thought the announcement was an April Fool's prank, but it's a wonderful truth, and many congratulatory messages flowed. 

12. Ekene Umenwa
