Following the State of Emergency saga in Rivers State, comedian Mark Angel has come under fire for asking residents to steer clear of the ongoing crisis. 

Mark Angel noted that people should not get involved in the ongoing political tussle as it is a case of government against the government. 

In a now-deleted video, on March 19, the comedian, known for his skits with Emmanuella, opined that the political crisis is as result of personal issues within the government.

Mark Angel’s comments faced heavy criticism on social media, which led to him deleting the post from his page. 

He later made another video addressing the backlash and reiterating his reasons for saying what he said earlier about the political fight being about the government.

Comedian Igosave calls out Nigerian internet service providers, alleges corrupt practices 

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Nigerian comedian Igosave called out Nigerian internet service providers for its exorbitant prices. 

The comedian alleged a case of corruption as he claims that they are ripping Nigerians off citing an experience he had in the United Kingdom (UK).
