Popular Nigerian comedian Otaghware Onodjayeke, also known as Igosave, has called out the internet providers in Nigeria after an experience he had in the United Kingdom (UK).

The comedian’s call out comes days after internet providers like MTN and Airtel reportedly increased their data subscriptions.

45-year-old Igosave, in a TikTok video, on Wednesday, February 26, accused the internet providers in Nigeria of outrageous data plans that do not last.

According to him, their actions calls for a thorough investigation to know why they are ripping Nigerians off in regards to their services.

So, this is the third time I am going to my internet service providers here in the UK. I will tell them that I want to top up my phone and they will say go home, you still have data. I come dey shock because na 20G I buy three weeks ago. Almost one month and this 20G still dey work.

So, this is a cry and a clarion call to the Nigerian government and FCPC, ICPC and EFCC to investigate all the telecommunication providers in Nigeria. The internet providers in Nigeria are ripping Nigerians off. 20G for UK Dey last one month while 50G for Nigeria no Dey last three days. Why? Wetin Dey cause am?” The comedian partly said in an outburst.
