The housemates of the Big Brother Naija Season 9 “No Loose Guard” edition have lost their first weekly wager on Friday August 2.
The wager with the theme “This is Us” required that the housemates collectively express their personal journey, struggles and growth through creative and entertaining means like drama, music, poetry or art of any kind.
Although the presentation started with what fans considered a beautiful performance from the Ndi Nne and a few other duos like the Chekas, Radicals, Streeze and Double K, the housemates failed to meet Big Brother’s expectations despite the tears, dance, drama, music and stunts.
While reviewing their performance, Big Brother warned the housemate about their tardiness whenever they are called. He also mentioned that the housemates did not take their appearance to the wager presentation seriously as most of them decided not to dress for the presentation.
Unfortunately for the housemates, they staked 80 per cent on this week’s wager and consequently, will not be able to shop for food this week.
In preparation for the impending hunger about to hit the house come Sunday, Chinne, one of the Ndi Nne duo suggested to the Heads of house that housemates should reduce the rate at which they cook food.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Toby Forge had professed his feelings for Kassia a second time. He told her that he has imagined kissing her since the day he saw her and that he would love to get her pregnant.
He said this after the pool party on Thursday August 1. After the first pool party of the season, most of the housemates were already drunk and some, tipsy.
