Every season has that one housemate who walks in like they already know they'll trend. Tram is giving that energy, confident, camera-ready, zero interest in a showmance storyline.

2. Temi Nkem: London girl, Lagos attitude

Twenty-one years old, raised in London, and already talking strategy like she's studied past seasons frame by frame.

She's the first female housemate to walk in this season. First impression? Calculated. The kind of calculation that either wins you the show or gets you dragged online by Day 5.

3. Mercedes: "Not chasing the bag, adding another one"

Twenty-six, a massage therapist and concierge business owner from Delta State. The producers themselves dropped that "adding another bag" line about her, and Nigerians on the internet already ran with it as a caption for everything.

She's not entering broke and desperate. She's entering with receipts. That energy alone puts her on the radar.

4. Gerard: The wildcard everybody's already watching

Lagos on-air personality, 23, self-described as someone who "hates dishonesty".

This is the guy who's going to say the thing nobody else wants to say, in the house and on camera, live. That's either entertainment gold or a fast route to the eviction list. We're watching closely, because loose lips in that house sink ships by Week 2, every single season.

5. Flora: Spice merchant

Thirty, a makeup entrepreneur from Delta State, described in her own intro as having "enough spice to keep the house on its toes."

Her love life is already flagged as "complicated" by the show itself. That's not a red flag, that's a plot summary.

6. Keivo: The quiet storm

Twenty-seven, a web developer from Benue State, open to love but "not thinking about marriage." Hobbies: gaming, painting, drawing.

He's the tech-bro-meets-soft-boy archetype the internet always ends up loving by Week 3.

7. Bells: Loyal to a fault

Twenty-two, an undergraduate from Akwa Ibom, and already declared she's "still in love with her high school sweetheart" outside the house.

The ship declined before it even started. That kind of loyalty either makes her the moral compass of the season or makes her a target for the shippers who live for drama. No in-between.

8–14: The ones building momentum

Martins (30, visual storyteller/model, Kogi), Abi (25, chef and model, Osun), Chimsom Chuka (27, pharmacist, Anambra), Kamsi (24, event planner, Imo), Sultex (24, dancer/choreographer, Lagos), Aikou (25, teacher and web developer, Abuja), and Oyin (22, sales entrepreneur, Ogun) round out the pack.

None of them have gone viral yet. But somebody in this list always sneaks up and becomes the season's biggest surprise.

Not all 24 profiles were fully detailed at launch, more housemates and full profiles are expected to roll out as the launch show continues.

Why this season already feels different

Ebuka opened the show the same smooth way he always does, but the house itself is the real plot twist. An "upside-down," bold-colour, luxury redesign meant to reflect an "unpredictable" season.

The producers are telling us, without saying it directly, that this season is going to be messier than usual. And Nigerians love mess. That's the whole business model.
