If you've been refreshing X (formerly Twitter) every five minutes waiting for Big Brother Naija news, today's your lucky day. MultiChoice just dropped the details, and honestly, Season 11 is shaping up to be the one that breaks the internet.
Grab your data, because we're breaking down everything, from the money, the sponsors, the date, the theme, all of it.
When is BBNaija Season 11 premiering?
Biggie's house reopens on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The launch show drops from 7pm on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family.
After that is the usual 24-hour live coverage on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49. If you're not near a TV, DStv Stream and GOtv Stream have you covered too.
That means you've got exactly ten days left to finish whatever you're finishing, because once housemates step through those doors, your productivity is dead.
The prize for this season
This season's winner walks away with a record-breaking N160 million grand prize package.
That breaks down as N100 million in cash, plus a brand-new SUV. Organisers are calling it the biggest prize in the show's 20-year history since it launched in 2006.
For context, last season's winner, Opeyemi "Imisi" Ayanwale, who beat 28 other housemates to the crown on October 5, 2025, took home N150 million. So Season 11 just pushed the ceiling up by N10 million.
Meet the sponsors
A new headline sponsor is in town. betPawa has officially taken over as Season 11's headline sponsor, replacing whoever held that spot last season.
Guinness returns as gold sponsor (they're basically BBNaija royalty at this point), and Minimie comes on board as associate sponsor.
betPawa's Head of Local Marketing & CSR, Borah Omary Ndanyungu, said the brand is all about "creating unforgettable experiences" and promised fans some serious rewards and engagement throughout the season.
Expect betPawa-branded challenges, giveaways, and probably a few housemates repping the brand hard by Week 3.
The Theme: "Everything is for the taking"
If you thought past seasons were dramatic, wait till you hear this year's theme: "Everything Is For The Taking."
MultiChoice's Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, Atinuke Babatunde, described it as building on the show's legacy with "even bigger stakes, fresh twists" and a housemate mix designed to keep viewers hooked from night one to the finale.
This isn't a season for playing safe. No handouts, no free passes. Every task, every alliance, every vote has to be earned.
Who's hosting?
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is back. He's been the face of the live shows since Season 2 in 2017, and Season 11 is no different.
If you're new to BBNaija, Ebuka's calm-but-savage interview style is half the reason eviction nights hit different every single week.
How to vote for your favourite housemate
Once the show kicks off, voting happens through the MyDStv and MyGOtv self-service apps. Eligible subscribers get extra voting perks if they upgrade their packages, and staying subscribed across multiple months keeps you locked in without interruptions.
So, if your data and subscription aren't sorted before July 26, you're going to be that person begging for updates in the group chat.
Is Season 11 worth the hype?
With a record prize, a fresh headline sponsor, a "no mercy" theme, and Ebuka back in the chair — this season has all the ingredients for chaos, drama, and viral moments for days.
Whether it lives up to the hype is a different conversation. But one thing's certain: come July 26, Nigerian Twitter is shutting down for the season premiere. Set your reminders, because Biggie doesn't do repeats.
