Afrobeats stars continue to put Nigerian music on a global scale and Nigerian singer Ololade Ahmed, popularly known as Asake, is a regular.
Recently, the sensational artiste was featured on the soundtrack list of the NBA 2k25 video game, further expanding his global status as a music superstar.
Asake got a special appearance with his song ‘Wave,’ which also featured popular British rapper Central Cee. The uptempo track was released on June 21, 2024.
This recent feat follows Rema, Omah Lay, Shallipopi, and Obongjayar's appearances on the official soundtrack of the EA Sports FIFA/FC 25 video game in September.
Album Talks, on Wednesday, October 17, made the announcement via their official X (formerly Twitter) page.

NBA 2K25 is a 2024 sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, based on the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The recent video game is the 26th installment in the NBA 2K series and it is the successor to NBA 2K24 released in 2023. NBA2K25 was officially released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 amongst others on September 6, 2024.
Tems’ ‘Me & U,’ Spyro’s ‘Who Is Your Guy’ feature on eFootball 2025 soundtrack list
Earlier, TheRadar reported that Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems alongside her colleague Spyro was featured on the official soundtrack list of the eFootball 2025 video game.
The game, eFootball is a series of association football simulation video games developed and published by Konami. The recognition featured Tems’ Me and U and Spyro’s Who Is Your Guy? on the soundtrack list of 2025 eFootball game.
