Premier League Top 6 Finalise Last-Minute Transfers.
  • Arsenal strengthens squad with the addition of David Raya and Mikel Merino
  • Tottenham broke their transfer record with the signing of forward Solanke
  • Liverpool's modest transfer window saw the arrival of Chiesa and Mamardashvili

With the transfer deadline looming, some of the Premier League's top 6 clubs have been busy negotiating last-minute deals.

Chelsea has been particularly aggressive in the market, bringing in talents like Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, and Marc Guiu. The Blues also landed Brazilian prodigy Estevao from Palmeiras and Mike Penders from Genk, both set to join in 2025.

However, Chelsea also bid farewell to club stalwart Thiago Silva, who returned to his native Brazil.

Manchester United, determined to strengthen their squad, made significant investments in Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro from Lille. They also completed a double signing of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

Despite these additions, the Red Devils released Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial, while Mason Greenwood joined Marseille for €26m.

Manchester City continued to fine-tune their squad, signing Savinho from Troyes and bringing back club legend Ilkay Gundogan from Barcelona. However, they lost Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid in a deal worth over €70m. The Citizens also saw several exits, including Taylor Harwood-Bellis to Southampton and Liam Delap to Ipswich.

Arsenal secured the permanent signing of David Raya from Brentford, adding Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad to their ranks. Emile Smith-Rowe left the Gunners for Fulham, while Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares were released.

Liverpool's transfer dealings have been more subdued, with the Reds signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus for €12m and Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia for €30m, though the latter will arrive next year. Meanwhile, the club released Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, and Adrian.

Tottenham made waves by signing Burnley winger Wilson Odobert, Leeds United's Archie Gray, and Dominic Solanke for a club-record fee.

They also re-signed Timo Werner on loan and secured the future arrival of Min-hyeok Yang. Spurs offloaded Oliver Skipp and Emerson Royal to free up squad space.

As the transfer window nears its close, these clubs are finalising their rosters for the season ahead. The next few hours will be intense as they look to make final but necessary adjustments.

Rumours to Reality: Confirmed player transfers in top 6 English Premier League clubs

Previously, TheRadar reported that only a handful of clubs have made some decent moves so far, with Liverpool not making any major signing yet, having around 12 players leave so far.

With 32 days remaining until the transfer window closes, fans are eagerly hoping that their teams can bring a surge of excitement to them by closing in on important deals and not just speculation.
