Nigerian football creator Klinton Cod and legendary football manager José Mourinho are among the headline names associated with the launch of Football.com TV, a new digital football network bringing presenters, journalists, pundits and content creators from five continents together for round-the-clock football discussion.

The network, launched on Monday, will broadcast live on YouTube, focusing on the arguments, analysis, reactions and transfer stories that keep football fans talking long after the final whistle. Its launch comes as online creators increasingly shape how younger audiences follow the game, challenging the traditional dominance of television broadcasters and established sports journalists.

Mourinho, one of football's most recognisable managerial figures, will serve as the network's global ambassador. Klinton Cod, a Nigerian content creator with close to one million followers across his social channels, will represent one of the key West African voices in the line-up.

The wider regional roster includes Nigerian contributors Shina Oludare, Olawale Ayeni, Solace Chukwu, Ayotunde Onabolu, Michael Adegbile, Adaeze Michael and Femi Farawe, alongside Ghanaian journalist Nathan Quao.

Their inclusion reflects the growing influence of Nigerian and West African football conversations, where supporters debate club performances, question managerial decisions and scrutinise transfers across social media, radio programmes, viewing centres and group chats.

Football.com's plans

Football.com, which is launching its TV channel, does not want football discussions to stop when a match ends or when one country goes to sleep.

The network plans to cover major competitions, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and LALIGA, alongside stories involving leading clubs, players and managers. Rather than showing live matches, it will concentrate on pre-match discussions, watchalongs, interviews, breaking news and post-match reactions.

Its programming will run in live blocks throughout the day, with rotating presenters and guests offering different perspectives. More than 150 contributors from five continents have been assembled, including established broadcasters, journalists and digital creators.

Among the international names are Charlie Carrillo and Pachu Zubiri.

Football.com to give fans voice beyond comment section

Unlike conventional television programmes, Football.com TV intends to make audience participation a central part of its broadcasts. Live chats, comments, polls and viewer reactions will feed into discussions, while selected community members will be invited to participate alongside presenters and pundits.

This could create opportunities for supporters watching from Lagos, Accra and other football-loving cities to challenge established commentators without needing access to a traditional television studio.

The network also plans to distribute clips of its strongest debates, interviews and reactions across social platforms, extending conversations beyond the original livestream.

Celebrities set to join Crash Games World Championship

In an earlier report by TheRadar, DJ Khaled, Burna Boy, Yan Diomande, Cheslin Kolbe and Benni McCarthy were announced to feature in the inaugural Crash Games World Championship (CGWC).

The star-studded lineup for the competition organised by SportyBet brought together names from music, football and other sporting circles.
