1. Nwoko seeks ban on foreign currencies in Nigeria: Ned Nwoko, chairman of the Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation, has called for a ban on using the United States dollar and other foreign currencies for transactions in Nigeria.
He reiterated this demand during a press briefing in Abuja over the weekend.
2. Tinubu attends G20 Summit in Brazil: President Bola Tinubu left Abuja on November 17 for the 19th G20 Leaders' Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, set to take place from November 18 to 19, 2024.
