Four lawmakers who have passed since June 2023
TheRadar gathered a list of lawmakers who have died since the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly on June 13, 2024.
- Abdulkadir Danbuga
The lawmaker represented Isa/Sabon Birni Federal Constituency of Sokoto State passed away on October 11, 2023. He was said to have died after a brief illness at the age of 63.
- Isa Dogonyaro
Isa Dogonyaro was a member of the House of Representatives, he represented Babura/Garki Federal Constituency, Jigawa State. He died on May 10, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 46.
- Musiliudeen Akinremi
He was a two-term member of the House of Representatives who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State. He died at the age of 51 on July 10, 2024.
- Ekene Abubakar Adams
This first-term member of the House of Representatives represented the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency of Kaduna State. His death was announced on July 16. According to his wife, he died after an illness. He died at the age of 46.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that a former speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, disclosed that his monthly allowance was N25 million while he was a presiding officer.
He also disclosed that, during his tenure as Speaker of the House, his monthly salary was N400,000.
Dogara stated this while speaking on Wednesday, July 3, in Abuja at the House of Representatives Open Week.
