In a celebration that has been trending on social media and captured the hearts of many, charming Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja tied the knot with her fiance, Ugo Nwoke, in an elegant and intimate ceremony.
Known for her captivating performances on screen, Sharon has always been a figure of grace and charm, but her wedding day showed a new side to her, one that is filled with love and commitment.
In a heartfelt revelation, Sharon shared the journey of her relationship with her husband, detailing how they met and the love which they so obviously share.
She revealed this while getting ready for her traditional wedding on Thursday, June 27.
“Well, my love story is one that I will say is sort of a miracle; because I had just recovered from what I consider the worst heartbreak of my life and I was filming and my sister had said to me ‘oh a friend of hers wanted to speak to me and I told her i wasn’t really in the mood.
“Anyway, she gave this person my number and he’s really, really smart, I’m like ‘Who is this person?.’ We probably didn’t speak as much as we should have. Months passed, he kept on trying to reach out to me and I was like, ‘this guy is persistent.’ we kept having conversations and one day there was one conversation that struck me.
We spoke for about three hours, it was one of those conversations and I was like ‘I think I like this guy.” Then I travelled and realised he hadn’t called me for about two days and I asked him why he hadn’t called me. He said ‘it seemed you told me you were gonna go out and have fun’ I was like ‘oh yeah, I’m single’ and he said ‘I don’t want you to be since anymore’ and the rest is history.
“We dated for about two and a half months and I was engaged on the third month and we married two months after that. But to give you some back story, spiritually, when I was filming in the desert, I had had a conversation with God where I had spoken to God about settling down and I feel like the Holy Spirit was striping me of all the pain I had been through in my past.
And all I know was the Holy Spirit kept saying to me that ‘your husband has come’ that is all I remember. I just didn’t know how, but when I met him, I knew that he was the one.
“There was so much peace, he is my best friend, he is the most amazing man I have truly met. Now I understand what people mean when they say ‘when you meet that person, you just know.’ He is my person and I am genuinely grateful to God for him. Life partner for life,” she added.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that popular actress and Sharon Ooja's chief bridesmaid, Bisola Aiyeola, tacked blogger Stella on the allegations made against Sharon and her husband, Nwoke.
Stella claimed that Nwoke had been married three times before, with his most recent marriage ending in 2023. The news spread quickly, causing a stir among fans and in the Nollywood community.
