On March 27, 2025, friends and family mourned the untimely passing of Bisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
The 44-year-old, remembered for her vibrant spirit, was laid to rest in a ceremony held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David Parish in Lagos.
Popular media personality Toke Makinwa was among the many who expressed their sorrow over Bisola's departure.
Taking to her Instagram story, Makinwa shared a heartfelt tribute: "A life well lived, A life loved. Such a befitting send forth home. You won Abi, You won."
In her emotional reflections, she added,
"Still unbelievable, I know you're looking down smiling, telling us all to clean our tears, AbiHollywood, Abike."
Makinwa also quoted inspiring words, stating,
"Teach us to number our days Lord, so that we can apply wisdom. Teach us to live this life you've given us, to love intentionally and to be your true disciples here on this side of eternity..."
She expressed her deep anguish over Bisola’s passing, writing,
"Abi's death has left a lot of us heartbroken. A woman and a half, I thought the testimony was in her getting better and winning souls for you Lord, but you being God hit us with a plot twist and last night's praise and worship, The tributes…
“That was the testimony you wanted. You were in that room Lord and so was she. You beamed with pride at how full her life here was. Truly bitches became BELIEVERS."
Makinwa continued to celebrate Bisola’s impact on those around her, stating, "She touched lives. The room was a testament that she ran this race and won. As we finally lay your body to rest... Thank you for the honor of knowing you.
“You will be deeply missed cuzzo, your smile, those warm and tight hugs, your bubbly spirit, your light. Dance in heaven,honourice with your crowns. There'll never be another Abi. The world is less colourful without you."
