TheRadar spoke with 10 Nigerians, asking them if they could switch lives with anyone for a week, who would it be and why.

The responses were fascinating, varied, and intriguing. Here's what some people had to say.

Nigerians speak on switching lives

Enny:

Elon Musk. I want to be the richest person in the world and enjoy my life.

Favour:

It'd definitely be Danielle Steel for several reasons. She is a creative genius with over 170 books to her credit. I would love to experience her creative process, to see how she weaves together intricate plots, memorable characters, and emotional depth.
In addition, I'd love to share in her romantic optimism. Danielle Steel's novels often celebrate the power of love, family, and relationships. I believe that spending a day in her shoes would grant me a deeper understanding of the human experience and emotional intelligence. I would also enjoy experiencing her luxurious lifestyle, from her homes in New York and San Francisco to her philanthropic endeavours.

 Chioma:

If I could switch lives, it would be with Precious my closest friend. She's pretty funny and smart but she lacks street OT, academically she is up there but when it comes to the street or matters of the heart or emotional discourse she lacks in that aspect.
She is really beautiful but she clearly can’t tell when every gesture she gets from the opposite gender is all an agenda to push her panties we talk about this she asks for my 2 cents I give her but she still does what she wants and when it goes south — let’s just say it is not pretty at all.
Anyways, if I were her I’d leverage on the attention and gesture to get what I want and block them to eternity if men can get what they want without blinking an eye why can't I do the same?

Ife:

I can't switch life with anyone because I don't know what they're also passing through underneath. I prefer to live my life again because my present condition is someone's prayer point.

Fumbi:

My brother! I would do that because our spirit aligns. My brother has traits that I would love to emulate, so it makes it easy to switch with him. My brother is calm, patient, respectful, and above all intelligent

Mike:

I would say Donald Trump (being the current president of the USA of course). Why? I'm curious to see how much activity and time go into being in the most powerful position in the world politically. The feeling, the weight of the position, sitting in the Oval office and having access to an insane level of confidential files for one week. Will be such a thrill.

 Mercy:

If I could switch lives with someone it would be Adam in the Bible so I can experience a unique perspective on creation.
As Adam, I will experience the world in its purest and undiluted form. I will witness the beauty of the Garden of Eden, the vibrancy of the animals, and the serenity of the Garden. This would give me an unbeatable appreciation for the natural world and the intricate relationships within it.

Sam:

I’ve never thought of switching life with anybody else.

Goodness:

If I was to switch lives with someone for a week, It would be Temi Otedola! Temi Otedola has successfully navigated the complexities of being a rich kid while establishing her own identity in the public eye.
Temi is a fashion icon who blends simplicity and elegance with contemporary trends. I really admire the level of privacy in her personal relationships despite being famous. She exudes so much grace and elegance in everything she does. With her lifestyle, one gets to travel to different places to learn and experience different cultures

Bolu:

A rich man's daughter, just to have the privilege of not being the one building generational wealth. With that, you have the capital to start a life at least, not beginning from zero hustle

Changing surname after marriage or not: Single ladies talk about what they’ll do

In a previous report, TheRadar spoke with single ladies about whether they would drop their father’s name, keep it, or compound the two.

A trend had emerged that many Nigerian ladies didn’t want to go with the flow of automatically dropping their maiden names to adopt their husbands’ (sur)names.
