Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, have welcomed triplet sons.

Adedimeji announced the arrival of the children on Friday, May 1, through an emotional video shared on his official Instagram page, confirming that he and his wife are now parents to three boys.

The actor, who described the moment as the greatest blessing of his life, shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the journey to fatherhood.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for — a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own,” he wrote.

He added, “My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah.”

While Adedimeji did not disclose the birth date or reveal the names of the children, he confirmed the couple had welcomed three sons, a revelation that immediately drew excitement from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.

The news comes after years of public scrutiny over the couple’s childlessness, a subject Adedimeji had previously addressed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, where he spoke about the online trolling directed at his wife.

At the time, he responded: “When it is time, what will be, will be.”

Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe got married in December 2021 after what began as a long-standing friendship and professional relationship. Their traditional wedding was held on December 18, 2021, followed by their Islamic ceremony on December 22, 2021.

Since then, the couple have become one of Nollywood’s most admired partnerships, both on and off screen. Their 2024 Netflix hit, Lisabi: The Uprising, co-produced by Mo Bimpe and starring Adedimeji, became a major success and further strengthened their reputation as one of the industry’s most celebrated power couples.

Its sequel, Lisabi: A Legend Is Born, is among the films nominated at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, scheduled for May 9, 2026, while Adedimeji also earned multiple nominations at this year’s ceremony.

Following the announcement, congratulatory messages poured in from colleagues and fans, with actress Mercy Aigbe writing, “To God be the glory. Congratulations.”
