Nigerian medical doctor and influencer Chinonso Egemba, known as Aproko Doctor, has expressed anger over a viral photo of popular media personality Oriyomi Hamzat in a hospital.
Aproko Doctor triggered an intense debate with his reaction to the photo of the CEO of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat, circulating online.
The photo, which shows the CEO lying in a hospital bed with an oxygen tank, was shared amidst reports that he had collapsed following the tragic stampede at a children's event in Ibadan, which claimed the lives of at least 32 children and many left injured.
As of Thursday, 19th of December, reports indicate that Hamzat has been unconscious since Wednesday, 18th of December, and is receiving care at a local facility.
Aproko Doctor took to social media to express his outrage, stating, "Please stand up and answer the questions. We're done with all these theatrics. But first, put on the oxygen tank, let's know you're serious. Children died!”
The unfortunate incident has been a sensitive discussion as Nigerians mourn over the death of little children in the incident. Many have been apprehended, including Queen Naomi, the recovered Oriyomi, who is presently in Abuja for investigation.
However, as the investigation into the stampede continues, the public demands justice and answers for the victims and their families.
