Social media platforms are abuzz with discussions about Priscilla Ojo's decision to unfollow fellow influencer Merry John, popularly known as Beauty Goddess. 

This move comes on the heels of a viral TikTok video in which Beauty Goddess addressed her absence from Priscilla's wedding, igniting speculations of a rift between the two.

In the controversial video, Beauty Goddess explained, 

"So, I had gotten an invite earlier in January, and I was so busy at that time that I could not do a lot of stuff. As I was preparing for my trip, I forgot about it; by the time I was ready to do the whole thing, my flight was booked a day before the trip, and it was sponsored."

She further elaborated, 

"Apparently, I didn't check the JP whatever that time and at the time I remembered, it had clashed with the same day with my flight. The flight is expensive and you don't expect me to cancel my flight. I am sorry."

Expressing her regret, the Nigerian-Ghanaian influencer added, 

"I was imagining my outfit because you know your girl has to slay, but then I told the bride, and she understood. 

“Why is it that you guys are the ones bothered? Can you guys chill? People are busy doing things and you think everyone is fighting online. At this point, you're doing too much."

Finally clearing the air about their friendship, she stated, 

“I am so happy for her. I need you people to understand that following ourselves doesn’t mean we're friends. I don't make friends like that. You coming out to say we're friends, how? Can you post three videos of us hanging out together? No way.”

Despite her explanations, Priscilla's decision to unfollow her sparked speculations about the authenticity of their friendship.

In light of these developments, many social media users have voiced their opinions commending Priscilla for her actions, and some expressing disbelief at how Beauty Goddess expressed herself.
