A surprising twist has emerged in the ongoing controversy surrounding VeryDarkMan's claim that his non-governmental organisation's website was hacked, resulting in the loss of N180 million.

Nigerian musician Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, posted a video on Instagram with VeryDarkMan, revealing that the alleged theft was only a prank.

According to Dammy Krane, VeryDarkMan is currently renovating a school in Jos, and the results will be shocking compared to what other celebrities had to say about the controversy.

In the video, Dammy Krane stated: “You are shocked right?” He captioned the video, “It was a prank🌚VDM Is Renovating a School in JOS”

This new development has triggered an uproar online, with some netizens mocking celebrities who had earlier called out VeryDarkMan for lacking integrity.

However, in another recent video, VeryDarkMan insisted that he is a man of integrity and has already achieved financial stability.

He stated: “Alright, so I have told you that I will show you who I am in this country and it is now. I have integrity and my mother did not raise a thief or a person who takes advantage of people, and as a ‘rattel’ I am not like that.

“You will all see the result and confess that I have done something. You said I am a thief. If not for the love of the street, I know where I am coming from. And may everyone saying nonsense be damned. Do you know since when I have killed the thirst of money? Money does not move me and you can ask anyone that knows me.”

Many Nigerians speculated that the video was an old one reposted only to shift attention from the truth and manipulate public opinion regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding his alleged N180 million loss.
