The film, directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters starring Kehinde Bankole as Funmilayo, is a 2022 biopic about the life and times of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, a renowned Nigerian activist and mother of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. Watch this drama to learn about the lifetime of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti.

4. Upgraded 

Lovers of rom-com, this is for you. The movie is a 2024 American film directed by Carlson Young, starring Camila Mendes as Ana Santos. Ana is an aspiring art intern who meets a handsome stranger, Will. Will mistakes Ana for her boss, Claire. A white lie then sets off a glamorous chain of events, romance and opportunity for the two, until her fib threatens to surface.

5. Hotel Labamba  

Lodged at Hotel Labamba are Ella and her boo, Posh ad Suave, Halil Omar and his friends, and Pearl and her husband's best friend. When someone ends up dead, everyone in the hotel becomes a suspect, including the hotel staff. Will the killer be caught? Can the case be kept under wraps? Who is the killer in the hotel? Watch this drama to find answers to these questions.
