Kehinde Bankole acted as Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti in the 'Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti movie'Kehinde Bankole played the role of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti in the eponymous movie

I've told everyone around me, discussed it with my circle, and even told people who didn't care to know. So, I think you should know, too, since we cannot scrape the scalp of a man in his absence.

Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti blew my mind away. That movie is phenomenal, a matchless work of art, and ever since I saw it, I've been wondering why God decided to give one human being an abundance of talent and dazzling beauty. You're incredibly blessed!

Jokingly, I told a colleague at work yesterday, "I think the spirit of Funmilayo Ransome Kuti consumed Kehinde Bankole during the production of that movie.”

Apart from being a doppelgänger of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti (FRK), she acted like she was THERE when it all happened. Just too real! Did you see the protest scenes? Did you see the inexplicable interpretation of her formidable role?

I had goosebumps all over my body while I watched every scene in the movie. E choke!

Ma'am, I celebrate your exceptional talent and gift. Thank you for breathing upon our rich history and culture. Through this daunting project by Bolanle Austen-Peters, our past is reborn for unadulterated light into our present.

Hopefully, God may forgive the people who relegated an entire god, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, to a common "First woman in Nigeria to drive a car" (That was what I was taught in primary 6)

It's annoying how I just found out that FRK was the first girl-child to ever go to a high school (meant for boys alone) in the entire Egbaland! Watching her fierceness in motion, my mind sauntered into the many sides of her that could not be stuffed into a two-hour movie.

A big shout out to Bolanle Austen-Peters and every single person who worked tirelessly to birth this great production.

This movie should be on everyone's lips, especially those passionate about the preservation of culture and the correction of faux history.

I love, love, love the projection of our richly elegant Yoruba culture. All the outfits in the movie were fire!

What a masterpiece!

I give it to Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, she deserves all the recognition and spotlight.

House of Ga’a: Femi Branch finally gets his big break in lead role after many promises

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reviewed the performance of Femi Branch in Bolanle Austen-Peters' movie, House of Ga'a. Femi Branch was the lead actor playing the role of Bashorun Ga'a in the movie, which was exclusively released to the streaming platform Netflix on July 26.

After the promise of immense talent, Branch became the rave of the moment due to his remarkable performance in the cultural movie.
