Nigerian artiste Portable has once again stirred controversy with a social media post that has left fans buzzing. Recently, many have drawn comparisons between him and fellow artiste Asake due to their similar facial tattoos.
However, Portable took to Instagram to share his disdain for these comparisons, declaring that he resembles American rapper Lil Wayne instead.
In a candid video, Portable stated, "Hello, ladies and gentlemen, I want to warn you to stop comparing me with Asake. I do not look like him, I look like Lil Wayne.
“I earn from Sony, not Empire, and I am a CEO of myself. It has been long since they disappointed me, and I intentionally ruined my face, but God has not shamed me."
Following his video towards fans comparing him to fellow artiste Asake, he adopted an advisory tone for his fans. He cautioned them to be cautious of unsolicited advice, stating that those who offer guidance without providing financial support could be considered potential adversaries. He stressed the importance of valuing advice that comes with tangible benefits.
In addition, Portable expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Olamide, the CEO of YBNL Nation, acknowledging the impact his support has had on helping him achieve significant career milestones.
