Nigerian Comedian and skit maker, Brainjotter has narrated how he came about the Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo dance challenge on social media.
He said this during a visit to the singer Mike Ejeagha and his family. Brainjotter, while addressing the legend and his family in a video during the visit, explained that this was not the first time he had heard the song. His father used to play the music when he was a child, and he used to be angry whenever it was played.
He also added that he came across the song on TikTok and used the sound on a video he had earlier created.
In his words: “Basically, it was not really planned, I think it was just the will of God. The last I heard of the song was when my father played it when I was a kid and we’re traveling to the east. In my head then, I used to get angry.
“So, as God will have it, I was just scrolling through Tik Tok, and then I just passed through the song, I scrolled like four times, and I came back. The song just made sense to me and the video I used to do it was a video I have already done since. It is just the will of God, not my will.”
