Dare Fasasi, professionally known as Baba Dee, a Swedish-Nigerian movie director and dancehall artist, recently recounted a harrowing experience involving a gang of thieves during a wedding trip to Benin with his colleague Segun Arinze.
Robbers intercepted him and his colleague, actor Segun Arinze, on their way to the event. Surprisingly, the robbers treated Segun, famously known as 'Black Arrow,' with respect and reverence instead of hostility.
On his social media account @dare_fasasi, he shared, “Yo guys, I kid you not, I was in Ore somewhere in Benin and was riding with one actor, and there was a robbery that we had to park the vehicle; we were actually going for a wedding. Somehow, I noticed all the armed robbers were coming to hail the actor 'Black Arrow'. This is the only actor with street credibility among armed robbers.”
The video captured Sound Sultan's brother, Baba Dee, sharing a lighthearted moment with Segun Arinze as the veteran actor playfully teases him for not being serious.
Veteran actor Segun Arunze, born Segun Padonou Aina, rose to fame with his iconic role as ‘Black Arrow’ in the 1996 classic Nollywood movie 'Silent Night', directed by the legendary Chico Ejiro.

As soon as they saw Segun Arinze. They went down and started to hail him. He just told them to guide the set that he will sought. He didn't even say it twice. Theee guys were there with us for the 3 days we shot at that location. FACTS.”
