In a shocking turn of events, Toyosi, one of the recently evicted Tami pair, has revealed that she will not continue living with Dami and would love to have some time apart after their eviction from the Big Brother Naija house.

Toyosi said this in an exclusive interview with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Monday, August 5. She revealed that Dami has been blaming herself for their eviction, a sentiment which she doesn’t share, and she would love to give Dami some time to absorb herself of the guilt she’s feeling.

This conversation came up when Ebuka read a question from a fan that asked if they would continue living together and Dami said yes without hesitation.

Toyosi explained saying, “I love you, but I feel like there has been a lot of tension. She's blaming herself too much and I want her to think without me being there. You are blaming yourself too much and I feel like when you see me, you’ll just keep blaming yourself and it might get to me.”

Dami was shocked but said she has been trying to understand how Toyosi feels about the eviction. “I have been trying to get how she genuinely feels about the eviction and hearing this now, I hope we work things out at the end of the day,” she submitted.

Dami also said she feels responsible for their eviction although Toyosi claims she doesn’t blame her for what happened. “Before we went into the house, I made it known that I am very hot headed and I really don’t take things lightly. For the first two days we were kinda like dull and trying to get to know things and understand how it works and I think people wanted us to get into the house and do something,” Dami explained.

While answering a fan’s question of whether she would have played the game better, Dami said “Again I take responsibility for the fact that we got evicted and I think that alone is a regret on its own because I feel like I ruined things for Toyosi. It makes me really sad because she really wanted this and I feel bad that I messed it up for her.  I think that I should have done better with the handling of situations and I am sorry.”

Ebuka advised them to sort things out and have an honest conversation because a week in Big Brother’s house should not end a seven year friendship.

Speaking on who they connected with in the house, Toyosi said she connected with Victoria, Faime while Dami connected with Kassia, Topher and Sooj.  The pair were also quite shocked when Ebuka revealed that the Double K pair were in fact married. They both noted that they noticed a connection between Kassia and Kellyrae but thought they were only dating.

Also speaking on her love interest in the house, Topher, Dami said she sees him as someone who wouldn’t be true judging from his look.

“He is a fine boy. We also spoke about the fact that before the house, he was actively speaking with someone and he’s taking things slow in the house.”

When asked about their plans, Dami said she’s looking forward to going back to the nightlife but on a bigger level for now, resuming culinary school and exploring radio presentation prospects.

For Toyosi, she would go back to expand her beauty business.  She also expressed her love for acting and said she might explore going to an acting school.
