“Association of home wreckers,” Carolyna Hutchings fires back at Ehi Ogbebor in heated exchange

A recent episode of the Real Housewives of Lagos season 3 sparked a heated exchange between Nigerian actress and reality TV star Carolyna Hutchings and socialite Ehi Ogbebor.

The controversy began when Hutchings expressed her dislike for Ogbebor and her visit to Dabota Lawson’s home during the reality TV show.

In episode 5 of The Real Housewives of Lagos, Carolyna Hutchings visited Dabota Lawson's home, where she was served refreshments. However, Lawson didn't touch any of the food or drinks offered to her. 

Later, in her confessional, Carolyna expressed her disappointment, stating that it was rude for a host not to eat out of the refreshments served to their guest.

The issue was revisited in episode 7, where Carolyna confided in Laura Ikeji and Sophia Momodu about her uncomfortable experience at Lawson’s home. 

She revealed that Lawson's failure to touch the refreshments she served made the situation even more awkward, especially since Ehi Ogbebor was present in the kitchen. 

Carolyna admitted that she has personal reasons for disliking Ehi Ogbebor, which added to her discomfort.

In response, Ogbebor took to her Instagram page on Monday, February 24 to address the matter, posting a voice message in which she accused Hutchings of being mentally unstable.

Ogbebor stated,

"Kai! This girl is stupid! I used to hear that you have mental problems, Caroline Hutchins, leave that Danjuma, leave the man's name, he has left you."

She continued,

"You are a failed baby mama, a failed trophy wife, a failed fine girl, a failed runs girl. You have failed in everything. Your only certificate in life that you always talk about is 'I was a rich man's wife', you're an idiot."

Ogbebor also shared a WhatsApp chat indicating their relationship and how she had allowed Hutchings to use her house for a movie production, as opposed to Hutchings’ public portrayal of their relationship.

In response, Hutchings denied Ehi Ogbebor's claim and explained that she personally requested to use Ogbebor's house for a shoot and instead accused Ogbebor of being promiscuous and predatory, specifically stating that Ogbebor sleeps with married men and pimps out her friends. 

Hutchings also boasts about her marriage and children, while questioning Ogbebor's baby’s paternity and morality.

She stated via her Instagram story,

"Association of home wreckers have woken up .. you gave me your house to shoot?? Was I the only producer on the list because I said thank you out of courtesy?

"Dirty pig Ehi that can sleep with a mad man is talking, you that NO MAN wants to claim, the last one ran for his dear life, you even had to entertain an agbero, classless dirty gutter pig.

“My ex-husband gave me his name and I was married for 11 years, a marriage you were a part of trying your best to enter.. idiaaaat. All my three kids for one man. Madam who the hell is your baby daddy?? Another woman's husband obviously.”
