It all started when Asherkine, a popular content creator and philanthropist, met a bus driver in Lagos named Segun Anozie, Tina’s husband. After asking Segun a few questions, Segun revealed that he used to have a white-collar job but had to start driving his bus to make ends meet. He also said that his purpose is to give his four children the best education that he didn’t have. As usual, Asherkine helped him and bought groceries, TV, gifts for his children, phones, shoes and bags for his wife.
He also revealed that he makes about N30,000 to N35,000 daily, and Asherkine gave him N50,000 for the day’s work. The content creator also gave the family N350,000 for their children’s school fees.
Asherkine and Segun then went to his house to meet the family. The family were overjoyed and grateful for the gifts. They were very well dressed, and when Asherkine asked why, Tina said they were coming from her daughter’s graduation ceremony.
Nigerians then traced Tina’s Facebook page and came upon her daughter’s graduation post. Many netizens have bashed Tina for using the hashtag, single mom on her post, citing her as an example of a bad wife and a woman men should run from.
Many others have dropped hot takes on the matter despite not having the full story of what might have transpired in their marriage.
Nigerians flooded Tina’s comment section asking her to change her character and return to her marriage. One netizen, Floxy Munachi Jennifer posted: “That man loves you,” and she (Tina) responded with “You can have him please.” She also responded to another netizen saying, “I choose peace. I choose my mental health."
Tina has also mentioned that her husband, Segun is a narcissist, and they are only co-parenting.
Some netizens also claimed they discovered that she stopped posting about her husband, Segun, in 2023 when he quit his job as a banker. Most Nigerians are shocked that despite Segun's effort to provide for his family, his wife is not supportive or appreciative of him.

Some netizens believe there is more to the story than what is being revealed to the public. Others see the entire situation as a lesson for men on the type of women they should avoid. A few people have called Tina a manipulator and an ungrateful wife. It may seem as though the bashing will not end soon.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Nigerian content creator and philanthropist Asher Kine took on the role of a feminist when he defended new Big Brother Naija housemate Toyosi from a troll on X.
An influencer, Dami Foreign with the handle @TheDamiForeign, posted a derogatory picture of Toyosi and an unidentified animal side by side.
