  • Victor Osimhen has scored nine goals in 11 games for Galatasaray but remains the focus of transfer speculation involving Juventus, PSG, and an unnamed Saudi club
  • Despite the interest, Osimhen intends to complete his loan in Istanbul and use the season to gauge Premier League offers for a potential Napoli exit
  • Juventus reportedly has €75 million ready to activate his clause after the 2024/25 season

Super Eagles star forward Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, is making waves in Turkey with his blistering form. The Nigerian striker has netted nine goals in his first 11 appearances for Okan Buruk’s side, proving him as one of Europe’s most lethal forwards.

However, speculation surrounding his long-term future continues to dominate headlines, with reports hinting at potential moves to some of Europe’s elite clubs.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that Osimhen is determined to honour his loan spell at Galatasaray and is not entertaining offers at the moment,

“He wants to use this season as an opportunity for Premier League clubs to decide whether to make an offer to Napoli,” Di Marzio said.

Despite his focus on the Turkish Super Lig, suitors are lining up for the 25-year-old. Paris Saint-Germain and an unnamed Saudi Arabian club have expressed interest in the striker, according to Di Marzio. Meanwhile, another report has suggested that Osimhen would seriously consider a move to Juventus, given the presence of Cristiano Giuntoli, the former Napoli sporting director who brought Osimhen to Italy from Lille in 2020 for €75 million.

Juventus reportedly has the option to activate a €75 million clause to secure the forward’s services at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, a move that could see Osimhen reuniting with Giuntoli.

While Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, his performances in Turkey have earned praise from across the footballing world. Even Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho, a rival in the Turkish league, previously acknowledged Osimhen’s talent,

“He is a fantastic player, If I was at a club with the potential to pay €75 million, I would buy him.”

However, Mourinho did not hold back on criticising certain aspects of Osimhen’s game,

“I have a problem with the way he behaves on the pitch. He dives too much,” Mourinho remarked.

Osimhen, however, remains focused on his craft and continues to prove why he is among the best, with pundits predicting an even brighter future for the Nigerian superstar.

Galatasaray joins race for Osimhen's signature, ready to bid €50 million

Previously, TheRadar reported that Galatasaray was preparing to shake up the January transfer window with a not-so-surprising move for Nigeria’s star forward Victor Osimhen.

While Chelsea had long been linked with the 25-year-old striker, the Turkish champions are now looking to secure a permanent deal to keep Osimhen in Istanbul, a city where he has quickly won the hearts of fans.
